Mac Akwasi Obeng

"My name is Mac Akwasi Obeng. I was born on June 10, 1976 to Mr. and Mrs. Obeng, and I have five brothers and four sisters. I love traveling, music, writing stories, art and sculpting, which are my best hobbies. In my leisure time, I love to go the seaside to feel the sea breeze and watch the sunset.

"I ended up as a business student from 1997 to 2000. But in 1987 I was introduced to Anthony Vodgogbe, an artist and a sculptor. I already felt the art spirit in me, but I couldn't express it until I saw his realistic works and began to hone my feeling for the craft. I began to follow in his footsteps. So he taught me until I became successful in the fields of sculpture and art. I stayed in training for 11 years, all while I was still in school. My thanks to Anthony Vodgogbe who has made me what I am today.

"I have sold most of my works and also exhibited them here and in the U.S.A (1999) and London (2000).
