Bruno Gecko

"Who as a child never held a globe in his or her hands? For me, a globe of the world is a symbol of childhood dreams. I traveled all over the world, but once I came to Bali on holidays, I decided to get established here.

"I decided to start my own venture, and though I have a background in publicity, I started creating in wood. My name is Bruno and since my first creation was a gecko, I became known as Bruno Gecko.

"I don't believe in machines and machine work. I'm only interested in human relations and the human factor when creating and producing. To me, the human dimension is the most important aspect of my work, so I have gathered a great team of master carvers that guarantees the human element in my work.

"I only create things that remain through time, objects that can pass from one generation to another, such as these wonderful globes, which are full of dreams."
